Official Rules for the Idaho Friends of NRA

2017 Truck Load of Guns Raffle

This is a raffle for NRA Foundation (hereinafter, "Foundation") in association with local Banquet Committees for the Friends of the NRA.  The raffle is hosted through the Idaho State Rifle and Pistol Association, Inc. (hereinafter, "ISRPA")  Together, the Foundation and ISRPA will operate as the "Administrator" of the raffle.

There is no cash substitute for prizes except as listed below for the Grand Prize.  Raffle prize winners will not have right to substitute another prize for any raffle prize offered through this drawing. Tickets are not transferable. The ticket holder is the person who is named on a ticket which is submitted for entry into the raffle.  A named ticket holder is the only person eligible to take transfer of any prize drawn for that ticket.

The Grand Prize will be described as “A New Truck Full of Guns” and will include a new Ram 1500 Quad Cab pickup truck with twelve firearms as listed on drawing tickets.  The Grand Prize will be the 101st item drawn from the ticket entries in this Reload Drawing.  The winner of the Grand Prize will have the option of receiving a substitute cash prize of $4,999.00 instead of the truck and firearms.

Ticket purchasers must be 21 years of age or older.  The minimum age of 21 is required because some of the prizes are handguns which are eligible for transfer only to persons of that age and older. All ticket holders must be eligible to lawfully receive and possess firearms and/or ammunition. All Federal and State laws apply.  This raffle is void where prohibited.

This raffle is referred to as a "reload drawing."  By that it is meant that each ticket purchased is eligible to win each gun drawn in this raffle after the ticket is purchased and duly submitted for entry.  Winning tickets are returned to the pool of purchased tickets to be eligible for each subsequent drawing.  Due to tax and reporting implications, no single ticket may actually win more than 6 firearm prizes in this raffle, in the event that a ticket is drawn more than one time.

A completed ticket is officially recognized as submitted for the drawing when the ticket is delivered to Idaho State Friends of NRA headquarters in Boise, Idaho, and when the ticket is accompanied by $100.00 US in collected funds.  Ticket purchasers using personal checks should allow time ahead of the deadline for their checks to be submitted and clear banks said checks are issued upon.

Tickets must be officially received by the Administrator by the 10th day of the month immediately preceding the drawing in order to be eligible for the drawing date set for that month.

Tickets must be received by: Idaho State Friends of NRA, Post Office Box 1445 Boise, Idaho 83701-1445

Raffle tickets may also be purchased online at: https://friendsofnra.org/eventtickets/Events/Details/13?eventId=53957

The Administrator reserves the discretion to allow a completed ticket to be submitted for a drawing after the deadline if collected funds are verified for payment of said ticket.

The dates of drawing shall be as set forth in the schedule which is printed on each ticket.  Need not be present to win.

Employees of the NRA Foundation and their household members shall not be eligible to purchase tickets or win prizes in this raffle.

An employee of the NRA Foundation or another person who has been designated by the Administrator shall draw tickets at the drawing. In no instance will any person who is a ticket purchaser or a closely-related family member of a ticket purchaser actually draw for winning tickets in this raffle.

Drawings will occur on respective drawing dates at times to be determined.  The public may attend drawings.  Information about drawing times will be made available on the day before the drawing.  Drawing times can be confirmed at the place of drawing or on the ISRPA website. Tickets will be kept secure by the ISRPA or a designee of the Administrator.  For drawing, tickets will be placed in a tumbler and mixed prior to the time of drawing. Firearm prizes will be delivered FOB to respective winners at RK GUNSMITHING gun shop located at 201 N Kings Rd #101, Nampa Idaho.  The Administrator reserves the authority to agree and arrange with any winner to transport the firearm to another location for transfer of the firearm. It is the responsibility of each raffle prize winner to qualify for and obtain transfer of each firearm raffle prize within 90 days of that drawing.  Failure of a raffle winner to qualify for and accept transfer of the firearm within that time will result in forfeiture of the prize to the Administrator. In the event that a person drawn for a raffle is not eligible to receive the prize drawn, the prize will be deemed forfeited to the raffle administrator.

Shipping for any firearm prizes will be limited to the 48 contiguous states of United States of America. Any winners will be responsible for shipping or obtaining their prizes.  The Grand Prize Ram Truck will be available for delivery FOB Kellogg, Idaho.

The firearms and prizes listed in this raffle have been secured and received on behalf of the Administrator. However, in the event of unavailability or other unforeseen circumstances, the Administrator reserves the right to substitute a firearm or prize of substantially equal value for any prize listed in this raffle.
